FAQ

CBD, THC… Huh?:

Here’s the lowdown: CBD and THC are both cannabinoids found in marijuana and hemp. THC is the good stuff - it’s what gets you buzzed. While CBD won’t get you high, it’s great for relief and inflammation. CBD and THC together… now that’s what you want. Each one amplifies the other’s good qualities, resulting in a relaxing buzz.

How much do I need to use?

With our beverages and beverage mixes having a typical onset of just 10-15 minutes, start small and go from there. For those new(ish) to cannabis, we typically recommend 5mg THC or less. For those with slightly more “experience”, we suggest more than 5mg THC but less than 15mg THC. And for our cannabis connoisseurs out there, we recommend partaking in our higher dosed products and pairing a drink with a pre-roll or your favorite way to flower.

How are your beverages different from traditional edibles and tinctures?

Traditional edibles (like gummies or chocolates) and tinctures are typically higher dose - ranging from 5mg to 50mg THC - and can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half to kick in. Why so long? Traditional products are oil based. Our beverages use a water-soluble formula meaning they are immediately absorbed when consumed (people are over 50% water) which allows them to be felt within 10-15 minutes.

Is hemp legal?

Yes, hemp is legal on a federal level and in many states. Its legal definition was set forth to separate it from marijuana.

What are the health benefits of CBD and THC?

Unfortunately, we are not at liberty to discuss any potential health benefits of hemp-derived cannabinoids or blends (CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9, and Select Spectrum). We encourage our customers to do their own research and consult a medical professional for these types of matters.

Will these products make me fail a drug test?

Full panel and marijuana drug tests were designed before the 2018 Farm Bill. These tests detect metabolites of Delta-9 THC. They cannot discern if the metabolites broke down legal, hemp-derived Delta-9 THC or Delta-9 THC from marijuana. We advise that you avoid cannabis products if you have a drug test coming up.

What's the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are the same species—cannabis. Their only difference is a legal distinction. Hemp is cannabis with a 0.3% or lower concentration of Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. Marijuana is cannabis with any concentration above that.
